Having a positive impact on our local community and environment has always been an integral part of Bartek’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. At Bartek, we fully understand that we are in an unprecedented and unique time, when we all truly need to come together to support our community.
In our home of Hamilton, 13,000 residents visit a food bank every month, including 5,000 children. Every year our local food banks are struggling to keep up with growing demand, but now more than ever Hamilton Food Share is looking to support those in need.
We are pleased to inform our community that the Bartek team has committed to contributing over $15,000 to Hamilton Food Share with future donations continuing.
In addition to feeding those in need, we recognize our frontline healthcare professionals, elderly, and other individual exposed to COVID-19 are at great risk and in need of personal protective equipment. In response, Bartek has donated over 1,000 masks to Hamilton Health Sciences, which is the donation hub distributing personal protective equipment to hospitals and other critical care facilities.
