As we look to increase our focus on animal nutrition and meet the growing demand for malic and fumaric acids, we recently increased our production facility capacity by 4,000 tons a year. Our ingredients are increasingly used in the animal nutrition space, and we were featured in a Feed Navigator article on this topic.
“We have proof of concept that supports the use of malic acid to enhance feed palatability, malic and/or fumaric acid to support weight gain in piglets, and as alternatives to, and partial replacements for, some antibiotics,” Bartek’s Vice President of Business Development Jeff Billig said.
